Restoring Sleep: Don’t Get Your Dander Up!

Sleeping in the same room with your pets is not always the best pathway to restful sleep.  Pet dander can cause problems with breathing, and the body cannot fully relax when under duress.  Cleaning your sleeping space often is important to remove not just pet dander but dust as well.  Clean your linens often, with hot water, to remove dander, sweat and hairs.  Sweep or vacuum at least once a week, and don’t forget the space under your bed.

You may find a few simple actions can make a world of difference in your nighttime breathing cycle.  Breathing strips that rest across the nose and gently pull open the passages may be all you need.  Taking steps to clear the sinuses can make a world of difference in your sleep as well.  If you have chronic sinus infections or stuffiness you may want to look into methods to clear and cleanse the sinus cavities.  There are many natural methods available, such as nutritional supplements, teas, and detoxification protocols.

Restful sleep can be a closer than you think.  Don’t get your dander up, just take those simple steps to create a cleaner environment for your restful moments.
