Why is it that some women find it very difficult cracking the male code? Are they truly at a big disadvantage compared to men in all aspects of their life, be it within the workplace or at home. Certainly it appears that way when it comes to personal life and dating, as there is a considerable amount of frustration.
On the face of it, it would appear to be a man’s world, especially when you look at professional arenas. There are far more men at the top of their game than women in most cases. This doesn’t mean that there are a different set of rules to play by but it probably means that women are not being assertive enough. It’s time that this position was reversed!
If you get on the same wavelength as men, does this mean that you have worked out the age-old problem of cracking the male code. Does it just mean that, mentally and emotionally you have to act like a man to succeed? This is probably not true as surely equality means an equal dose of mutual respect, rather than sameness.
We have seen over the ages that many women seem to be hardwired to accept their position as subservient to the man. This is almost certainly to lead to discomfort and it is important for each woman to ensure that she is confident in every aspect of the relationship.
If you don’t try and over-analyze it, cracking the male code may be a whole lot easier. Have you noticed how often they talk in sports metaphors and how most of them seem to be absolutely glued to anything concerning sports? Maybe this leads to the realization that they need to be hunting in packs and is an ancestral trait. Maybe it means that they feel there is safety in numbers and are in fact trying to avoid having to accept the error of their ways!
Cracking the male code will take a lot of work, but you must first of all look inwardly at yourself to be able to see the big picture. Note that men often see women as people who take care of details once a man has achieved the initial goal. If you like, the guy brings home the bacon and the woman cooks it. Try expanding your relationship and getting your partner more involved in what he may view as domesticated things to start off with.
Many men find confidence to be a very sexy attribute in a partner, so make sure that you show this at all times. This might well benefit your relationship more than you could imagine. This is not to say that you should be aggressive, even though he may come across like that. Don’t just act like him.
Fundamentally, it all boils down to the fact that we are very different people individually, in addition to the fact that gender by gender there are significant gaps. If you are willing to accept him, and he you, then you are off to a good start. Remember that life is too short for argument.
