Specific amounts of electricity are run through the coils to produce heat. These are considerably simpler than the water version, and can be far cheaper.

Both varieties of radiant underfloor heating have their benefits. Sometimes electrical based heating element can interfere with some electrical items. While newer technology can prevent this, it also makes the price tag higher. There is no electrical interference problems with water based heating, and they can be used in conjunction with solar hot water tank. Both of these items’ electrical needs can be supplemented with solar electric panels
